A: We are open daily from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Greenfield Village and Ford Rouge Factory tour hours vary seasonally.

Q: What is the school group rate?
A: 2011-2012 school year rates are $8.00 per venue, (Village, museum, IMAX Theatre, Rouge Factory Tour). The rate is the same for students and adult chaperones, certified teachers are free to village, museum and the Rouge Factory Tour. Everyone pays for IMAX.

A: Your group does not have to arrive at the same time, however only the contact on the reservation can add to the reservation. Please let chaperones know a location where they can meet your group.

Q: Do you have eating facilities for groups?
A: Yes, we have a student dining area located in Henry Ford Museum. This area can be reserved in ½ hour increments, can accommodate up to 200 people and is free of charge. There are vending machines for cold beverages only, located in the dining area. The village has numerous eating areas which are on first-come, first serve basis. There are no eating facilities at the Rouge complex.

Q: What options do you have should my students wish to purchase their lunches?
A: On-site restaurants in the museum include Michigan Café and the Weinermobile. In the village we have the Main Street Lunch Stand, and Taste of History (times vary, please call for hours of operation). Q: How many adult chaperones do you require?
A: One adult group leader is required for every 10 students. This applies to all student groups K through 12.

Q: What is your payment policy?
A: Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village admission can be paid upon arrival, but must be reserved in advance. For speedier service upon arrival, we suggest paying in advance so that tickets will be printed and ready for pick-up. We can also mail pre-paid tickets directly to you for a $5 mailing fee. Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village tickets are refundable or reusable if the stubs are intact and have not been removed. Unused tickets can be used up to one year after their printed date. Special programs which include IMAX, Ford Rouge Factory Tour, Pre-ordered lunches, If I Had a Hammer, One Room School, Eagle Tavern Reservations and Guided Tours must be paid 2 weeks in advance. A: Our Call Center Group reservation staff will tell you where to check-in; this location is also indicated on your confirmation under “delivery method.” Check-in locations are the Museum Clock Tower Entrance (for Museum, IMAX & sometimes Rouge visits), the Village Entrance (for Village & sometimes combination visits) or the Rouge complex (when taking your own buses to Ford Rouge Factory Tour).

Q: What is new at the Ford Rouge Factory Tour?
A: The Ford Rouge Factory tour is a five part experience. We have two theaters that provide a history and future of Ford Motor Company. There is an observation deck where you can view some of Ford Motor Company’s eco friendly enhancements including the World’s largest living roof. You can walk the walkways of a real factory and see where F-150s are assembled. The Legacy gallery has a small collection of cars manufactured by Ford Motor Company. The Rouge tour is now operating on an open flow schedule which means you can visit any of the five parts of the tour in any order you wish. The films run in sequence every 20 minutes and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Q: Can I take my own bus to the Ford Rouge Factory Tour?
A: You can now drive your school buses directly to the Rouge complex. This ensures your group will arrive at the same time. We still offer transportation from the museum on our buses should you choose to do so. However keep in mind buses are loaded on a first-come, first-serve basis which could mean your group may be separated.

Q: Will my class be seated together at the IMAX Theater?
A: Seating at the IMAX Theater is on a first come-first serve basis. We try our best to accommodate group seating but it is not guaranteed. We recommend arriving at least twenty to thirty minutes before your show time for the best chance of seating your class together.
