THE HENRY FORD CELEBRATES DODGE BROTHERS 100TH ANNIVERSARY AT 64TH ANNUAL OLD CAR FESTIVAL IN GREENFIELD VILLAGE, SEPT. 6-7
Celebrate the achievements of two of the early automotive industry’s biggest innovators – John and Horace Dodge – during Old Car Festival in Greenfield Village, September 6-7. After years of supplying parts to other automakers, including Henry Ford himself, the Dodge Brothers decided to go into production on their own, rolling out their first car in 1914. In honor of their 100th anniversary, The Henry Ford will host 30 Dodge Brothers vehicles in a special display on the Village Green including the company’s first model from its first year in production, a 1915 Model 30-35.   Read More.

The Henry Ford’s 1962 Mustang I concept car recently was voted Best in Class for Competition Mustangs at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California. Unlike traditional shows, where awards are determined by a panel of judges, award winners at The Quail are selected by the participants themselves. THE HENRY FORD HOSTS 12TH ANNUAL WORLD TOURNAMENT OF HISTORIC BASE BALL AT GREENFIELD VILLAGE, AUGUST 9-10
Ever attend a baseball game where the players didn’t wear gloves, weren’t allowed to pitch overhand and spitting was highly discouraged? On August 9-10, The Henry Ford will give guests a chance to do just that during the 12th Annual World Tournament of Historic Base Ball. Playing by the same rules as they did in 1867 when the Detroit Base Ball Club hosted the World’s Base Ball Tournament, Village clubs – the Lah-De-Dahs and the Nationals BBC – along with 14 other historic teams from across the Midwest will play the game the way it was meant to be played.   Read More.
