Educator Open House
September 28, 2013 (9 am-5 pm; doors open at 8:30 am)

Join us for our Educator Open House at The Henry Ford®!

Receive FREE admission for you and one additional guest* to Henry Ford Museum® and Greenfield Village®. PLUS, receive FREE admission to Ford Rouge Factory Tour and IMAX® Theatre when you attend one of our 20-minute Educator Overview Sessions.

Educator Overview Sessions: 9 am, 10 am and 11 am (20 minutes each)
The Henry Ford has developed unique and engaging educational experiences and opportunities for educators and students. At the Educator Overview Sessions, we will share a few of the 2013-2014 school year highlights, including scholarships, Summer 2014 NEH Teacher Workshops with stipends, the Teacher Fellow program, Building Stories student contest and more.

Head to the IMAX® Lobby (9 am-5 pm; doors open at 8:30 am)

All participants must check in at the registration desk in the IMAX® lobby.
Teachers may register and bring one (1) guest of their choice*
Teachers must provide credentials (certification or school ID).

*IMAX® and Ford Rouge Factory Tour tickets will be distributed after each session on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that the Educator Open House is exclusively for educators. The Henry Ford cannot give additional tickets to accompanying family members and guests, who will need to purchase their own admission tickets.

The Henry Ford is located in Dearborn, Michigan on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard, just west of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and south of Michigan Avenue (US-12).

From the East or West via I-94:
Take I-94 to the Oakwood Boulevard exit; go north on Oakwood. The Henry Ford is 2.5 miles from the exit on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard.

From the South via I-75:
Exit to northbound Southfield Freeway (M-39); drive 4.1 miles to Oakwood Boulevard (Exit 4). Left on Oakwood and drive 1.8 miles.

From the North via Southfield Road (or I-96):
Take Southfield Freeway (M-39) south 4.5 miles past I-96 and exit at Michigan avenue (Exit 6). Continue on the Southfield service drive (veer left) for .5 mile. At the first stoplight, turn right onto Village Road (through the iron gates) and drive .75 mile.
