PROGRAM GOALS
This field trip experience is designed to introduce students to the history and science of auto manufacturing. During this program students will:

Participate in two state-of-the-art multisensory film experiences that chronicle the history and future of automobile manufacturing. |

Visit the observation deck for a panoramic view of the 10- acre living roof on top of the Dearborn Truck Plant final assembly building and learn about other environmentally inspired innovations. |

View a world-class Ford assembly line via an elevated walk-way for an up-close look at how Ford F-150 pickup trucks are built. |

Walk through a gallery of legendary vehicles produced at the Rouge including the Ford Model A,Thunderbird, Mustang and the new F-150. |

GROUP LEADER REQUIREMENTS
At least one adult leader is required for every 10 students (K-12). Group leaders must be college age or older. Group leaders must stay with and supervise students at all times.

BUSING
School and tour groups have two options for arriving at the Ford Rouge Factory Tour. Groups can arrive directly at the Visitor Center in their own busses, or groups may depart from The Henry Ford, 20900 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, Michigan on Rouge shuttles.
For those arriving at the Rouge Tour directly in their own busses: A limited amount of school and group bus parking is available at the Visitor Center. School groups may request direct-arrival and bus parking arrangements with the Call Center representative when making advance reservations. Group arrivals are scheduled between 9am and 3pm. Buses will be directed to the parking area by Ford Rouge Factory Tour staff. Teachers will be directed to check in or pick up tickets at the Visitor Center.
School groups that travel in separate, private vehicles must depart from The Henry Ford Museum on the Ford Rouge Factory Tour buses. The bus loading zone is outside, in front of Henry Ford Museum, between the Clock Tower and IMAX® Theatre entrances. Teachers will be directed to check in or pick up their tickets at the Clock Tower Entrance. Buses return to The Henry Ford every 20 minutes, last bus returns to The Henry Ford at approximately 5:15 pm daily.

RESERVATIONS AND FEES
To make a reservation to visit please contact the Call Center at 313.982.6001, press 1.
Program fees are: Students and Group Leaders: $8.00.Teachers: Free.
Fees must be paid in full a minimum of two weeks in advance of your visit. Tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Tickets may be mailed (for a $5 fee) or picked up at the Clock Tower Entrance cashier station at Henry Ford Museum (if arriving on Ford Rouge Factory Tour buses) or at the Visitor Center (if arriving directly at the Ford Rouge Factory Tour in private bus) on the day of your trip.

HOURS
Tours depart every 20 minutes, Monday - Saturday from 9:20am – 3:00pm. The Ford Rouge Factory Tour is open until 5:00pm; closed Sundays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Departure times are based on bus departure from The Henry Ford main campus.

SPECIAL NEEDS/ADDITIONAL INFO
The Ford Rouge Factory Tour Visitor Center is handicapped accessible. Each theater can accommodate up to four wheel-chair users per show.
Cameras or video recording equipment allowed only in Legacy Gallery and Observation Deck. Photography of any kind is strictly prohibited in the theaters and Dearborn Truck Plant. Actual vehicle production will vary on a daily basis, is based on vehicle production needs and is controlled by Ford Motor Company.
There are limited beverage and snack vending machines at the Visitor Center. You may bring your own snacks/lunches and use the group seating at the Visitor Center during your visit. In order to guarantee use of the lunch space advanced reservations are required – all lunches are booked in half hour time slots with seating available for up to 96 people. Visitors are encouraged to use the Michigan Cafe at Henry Ford Museum prior to or following their visit to Ford Rouge Factory Tour.
The Ford Rouge Factory Tour gift store features Rouge Center-related merchandise. Much of this product line is exclusive to Ford Rouge Factory Tour and is not available in other gift stores at The Henry Ford.
