Services and Programs
We are here to help! We offer many services and programs that allow everybody to personally access The Henry Ford’s rich collections. We are happy to help you find the information you need. No appointment is necessary. If you are visiting the area, you are welcome to drop by the public reading room, where you can browse original documents, rare books, and other materials of historical interest. If you can not visit in person, you can still take advantage of the wealth of resources that are available to you electronically through our website. Research Services
The Research Library reading room, located in the Benson Ford Research Center, is open to all Tuesday - Friday, 9:30am – 5:00pm. For more information about the Research Library,
click here. If a visit is not possible, we also offer
personal research services online.

Conservation staff has developed Preservation Fact Sheets that provide basic information on the care, cleaning, and handling of various types of artifacts, as well as referral information to other conservation organizations, and a bibliography of authoritative works.
