The Elizabeth Parke Firestone collection and the Digital Dress Project

Funded through the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Digital Dress is a partnership with Wayne State University Library System, the Detroit Historical Museums, and Meadowbrook Hall. Digital Dress brings together collections from all of these institutions in a Web portal with 5,000 digital images of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories representing 200 years of fashion. These include many examples of Elizabeth Parke Firestone’s clothing.
