The Guardian Ear (left) and Radio Nurse (right) with their original packaging. In 1938 Zenith found another use for the Guardian Ear: paired with specially-designed headphones and re-branded the Ravox, the unit found some success as a hearing aid. Lessons learned with Radio Nurse technology helped Zenith to take the lead in hearing aid technology in the years following World War II. |
