Plane’s Pedigree
According to Ford engineer Otto Koppen, the dimensions of the airplane were determined when Henry Ford told him he wanted a plane that would fit inside of his office. Only two men ever flew this plane – Ford test pilot Harry Brooks and Charles Lindbergh. This was the first Flivver ever made, but it was modified at least three different times from 1926 to 1927.
