My first car was a brown 1982 Ford Fairmont Futura. My mom gave it to me so I had it to get back and forth to work. I had lots of fun in that car. It had its little problems but nothing that a simple and quick repair couldn't cure. Unfortunately it was t-boned by an elderly lady who shouldn't have been driving if she can't see very well. For the past couple of years I've been looking for another Fairmont to buy and modify into a daily driver street warrior.
