I’m standing beside my new 1961 Ford Galaxie in the Summer of 1961. 18 years old and one year out of high school, I purchased the Raven Black 2 door hardtop beauty which had a 300 HP 390 cubic inch engine and overdrive transmission. I drove that Ford for 13 years, eventually long enough for my wife and three children to all have ridden in it. And I wish I still had it.
