My first car I bought was a 61 Chevy Belaire stick! I got it for $95.00 and it needed a new muffler. PLUS I didn't know HOW to drive a stick. SOOO my mom drove it to muffler place to get new one and then showed me how to drive it! I spent 2 weeks going round and round the block till I got that clutch down!!
I married and moved to Fort Knox, KY and we made 6 trips back and forth from there to Michigan until it blew a Transmission. We had to spend a weekend repairing it and putting in a rebuilt one so we could get back to Fort Knox! We made a few more trips before finally coming home!
I had Bondoed the fenders as they rusted out, it had a hole in the floor between front seats and I traded it in and STILL got $100.00 trade in for it!! (even after cobbling up the tailpipe to quiet it)! THAT was a GOOD car! But have no picture of it.
