My first car was a 1972 (I think) Ford Galaxie 500. It was big as a boat. I bought it from my sister in 1978 before heading off for college. She sold it to me for $100 (which seemed like so much money). Thinking back...I'm not sure if I ever finished paying her, seriously!

It had a big engine with lots of power...sometimes a little too much. On one trip to WMU, I actually was pulled over twice for speeding. Like I say...it had plenty of power and apparently, I still had plenty to learn about driving, responsibility, etc. It was a great car...the first of many Fords I would drive.

Hmmm...I think I had better see if my sister will forgive my long-forgotten debt:).
