The greatest memory I have with my Crown Victoria is that I was lost in Las Vegas, and the only way I knew how to get back home was to drive south on the Las Vegas Strip. This was before portable GPS devices were readily available.
I had three passengers with me: three foreign exchange students from Zambia. They were hollering at the girls walking down the strip. The beautiful lights of Las Vegas were flashing. I was stressed out but my friends were having a good time.
Here I was trying to get us all home and those Zambian guys were just having a field day, taking in all the sights. But it wasn't all bad. One of the host family mothers would say, "Wes can get them home, he just takes the scenic route!"
