The
Early Years:
On
December 17, 1895, the Photochrom Company of Detroit filed
incorporation papers with the State of Michigan. Although
officially maintaining the Photochrom Company name, the
company was known as the Detroit Photographic Company
from 1898 until 1906 when it went by the name of the Detroit
Publishing Company.
