The
Research
Center subscribes to more than 200 periodicals
in subject areas, which support the collecting
and research activities of the Museum staff.
Holdings are more comprehensive in the areas
of automotive history and restoration, domestic
and community life, museum and library programs.
In addition to the current subscriptions,
the Research Center has extensive holdings
in both 19th and 20th century periodicals.
Godey's Ladies' Book, one of the most
popular magazines of the 19th century is among
the holdings of the collection, with volumes
from 1830-1895. Popular titles including
Life Magazine and Vogue Magazine are part
of the periodicals collection. |
