Oral Histories (1951-1958):

As
part of the formation of a corporate archives by the Ford
Motor Company in the early 1950s, an oral history program
was begun in March, 1951. Coordinated by archives
staff member Owen Bombard, the project complemented the
available written records documenting the life of Henry
Ford and the history of the Ford Motor Company.
The collection includes over 300 interviews of personal
friends and associates of Henry Ford as well as memories
of individuals who participated in the growth and development
of the company. |
