The
records of this department are concerned with
the actual production of Ford's products.
Included here are blueprints, reports, meeting
minutes, manuscripts, clippings, scrapbooks,
correspondence, monthly reports, supervisory
materials, appropriation requests, budget
reports, telegrams, photographs, ledgers,
glass plates, film, books, and sailing logs
pertaining to the acquisition of raw materials.
Of particular interest are the records
of Charles Sorensen and the operation of the
massive Rouge plant, records of war production
during World War II, the Northern Michigan
operations, Model T production, and the Henry
Ford Trade School. |
