Frank G. Armstrong Papers
(1898-1906):
|
Frank Armstrong was a salesman for the Electric Vehicle Company, which attempted to monopolize the production of electric automobiles and the market for taxicab service in the major American cities at the turn of the century. Armstrong's papers present an early picture of a salesman traveling the United States establishing selling agencies for an automotive company. The collection contains sales and expense records, correspondence and sales literature. Of additional interest is a small collection of Armstrong's Spanish American War correspondence.
