The icons that appear at the bottom of some of the collections pages are links to more information. Each icon indicates a different type of information. Below is an explanation of the type of information each icon represents. |

The further reading icon represents further information written by our archivists, curators and librarians. This information might include an essay about an object or collection area or a bibliography of further reading on a topic. |

pic of the month icon indicates that the object, or collection has
been profiled online as a pic
of the month. Clicking on the icon will lead you to that pic of the
month, which often has images and further information about an object or
collection area. |

The images icon indicates that there are more images of a particular collection object or of related materials. |

The caring
for your artifact icon will lead you to preservation fact sheets put
