Lego Castle Adventure Exhibit
October 10, 2009 - January 3, 2010

Limited Engagement Exhibit: Give Children the Freedom to Create, Imagine and Explore.

LEGO CASTLE ADVENTURE invites children and families to explore, build and play. Large-scale versions of LEGO bricks create the fanciful medieval castle and grounds. Visitors to the royal castle are immersed in a hands-on, life-size LEGO fantasy adventure. Children can even enjoy building their own LEGO castle creation in age-appropriate building areas for ages 3 and up. And don’t miss out on exciting LEGO learning adventures every Saturday from October 10 through January 2 and on Friday, November 27. Who knew learning could be this much fun?

Learn to Build Craftsman Saturdays!
Every Saturday, October 10, 2009 - January 2, 2010 and
Friday, November 27, 2009
10am-3pm near Wienermobile
Come visit our classroom as we teach you how to build with LEGO bricks. Limited class sizes; participation upon arrival. For the safety of our younger builders, this activity is recommended for children age 5 and older. Our exclusive Model T LEGO® project is available to purchase. Visit the Museum Castle Shop or ask our Learn to Build staff for details about purchasing your completed project.

Building Demonstration
Every Saturday, October 10-December 19
1pm-3pm outside Museum gallery
Watch members of the Michigan LEGO Users Group build amazing creations right before your eyes! Viewing appropriate for all ages. The Michigan LEGO® Users Group is an organization of adult fans of LEGO®. Its website is www.MichLUG.org.

Exhibit and activites are free with Museum admission.

NON-MEMBER SENIORS age 62 & up, $14
NON-MEMBER ADULTS age 13-61, $15
NON-MEMBER YOUTH age 5-12, $11
CHILDREN 4 & under are free.

Parking is $5 per vehicle.

what to bring, what to wear

The exhibits of the Henry Ford Museum are spread across several acres; all indoors. Comfortable clothing and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available to rent for a fee at the IMAX and Clock tower entrances. Electric scooter supplies are limited, please arrive early if you plan to rent one. You are welcome to bring your own wheelchairs, electric scooters and children's strollers-- however, upright electric scooters (Segways) are not allowed on premises.

Photography is allowed in the exhibit area but food and drink are strictly prohibited.

The Henry Ford is located in Dearborn, Michigan on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard, just west of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and south of Michigan Avenue (US-12).

From the East or West via I-94:
Take I-94 to the Oakwood Boulevard exit; go north on Oakwood. The Henry Ford is 2.5 miles from the exit on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard.

From the South via I-75:
Exit to northbound Southfield Freeway (M-39); drive 4.1 miles to Oakwood Boulevard (Exit 4). Left on Oakwood and drive 1.8 miles.

From the North via Southfield Road (or I-96):
Take Southfield Freeway (M-39) south 4.5 miles past I-96 and exit at Michigan avenue (Exit 6). Continue on the Southfield service drive (veer left) for .5 mile. At the first stoplight, turn right onto Village Road (through the iron gates) and drive .75 mile.
