THE HENRY FORD IMAX THEATRE HOSTS FREE SCREENING OF D-DAY 3D: NORMANDY 1944 FOR VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY FRIDAY, JUNE 6
In honor of the 70th anniversary of D-Day, The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre will host a special free screening of D-Day 3D: Normandy 1944 for veterans, active military and their guests on Friday, June 6th at 1:00 pm. The free screening will include remarks by WWII veteran and U.S. Representative John Dingell and Senator Carl Levin, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, prior to the start of the movie.

The Henry Ford’s Chief Learning Officer Paula Gangopadhyay was recently honored by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) with the 2014 Faraday Science Communicator Award and by the Michigan Science Teachers Association (MSTA) with the 2014 Informal Science Educator of the Year Award. Gangopadhyay received the awards based on her contributions and leadership in the area of science education.
