Q: I just renewed my membership and didn’t receive a new card. Why not? A: The Henry Ford has switched to a multi-year membership card. This means that you get to keep the same card and the same membership number, instead of getting a new membership number every year. Not only is this good for the planet, it allows us to spend more of your membership fees on the programs and artifacts you love. If you renew your membership at a different level you will receive a new card.
Q: If I lose one of my membership cards, can I get it replaced? A: Lost/damaged membership cards can be replaced by a member of the Visitor Services team. Visit a cashier and present a photo ID (and damaged card, if applicable) to receive a replacement.
Q: What events are free with my membership? A: Your membership provides free admission to certain weekend special events in Greenfield Village including Civil War Remembrance, Motor Muster, Ragtime Street Fair, the World Tournament of Historic Base Ball and Old Car Festival. You also receive free admission to many special exhibits in Henry Ford Museum (some restrictions may apply).
Q: What other discounts do I qualify for with my membership? A: Your membership qualifies you for discounted admission for IMAX Theatre and Ford Rouge Factory Tour tickets, discounts and advance sales for Special Events such as Holiday Nights, discounts on daily Ride Pass, discounts in our retail shops, and free parking. In addition, your membership may also be tax-deductible.
Q: Is any portion of my membership tax-deductible? A: Memberships are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. If you have a membership that includes a ride pass, the ride pass portion of the membership is not tax deductible. Please consult your tax adviser for details.
