STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS: An IMAX 3D Experience
Now Showing!
NEW! The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre is proud to present “STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS: An IMAX 3D Experience.”

Acclaimed filmmaker J.J. Abrams returns to the director’s chair for this latest action-packed installment in the iconic Star Trek franchise, which features Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and the crew of the Starship Enterprise called back to Earth in the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization.  Abrams shot several key sequences of the film that feature big action set pieces with IMAX film cameras, which have become an integral tool for visionary filmmakers to tell their amazing stories.

Exclusively at The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre, sequences filmed with the extremely high-resolution film cameras will expand to fill our entire 62-foot-tall by 85-foot-wide screen and further immerse the audience in the vast dimension and adventure of this highly-anticipated follow-up. Don’t miss your chance to experience this epic film the way it was meant to be seen—exclusively on true 15-perforation/70mm IMAX 3D film! Tickets are now on sale.
