Create Memories That Will Last Across Generations
Imagine a giant Christmas tree adorned with hundreds of precious ornaments, the perfect Santa and winter wonderland-bound toy trains. Experience these unforgettable moments for real during Holidays in Henry Ford Museum — and create memories that will last across generations.
Build your own family traditions with a holiday visit to Henry Ford Museum. Reminders of the festive season are everywhere you look. Marvel at our towering Christmas tree or the remarkable Glancy trains as they run through a model of mid-20th-century Detroit. And then, of course, there’s Santa himself. All of the year-round treasures are here as well: the Rosa Parks Bus, the always-entertaining Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, the massive train display and our newest exhibit, Driving America. Holidays in Henry Ford Museum are like nothing else on earth.

Helpful Tips When Visiting Santa
Santa is here 10 am-4 pm Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-5 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Weekday afternoons generally are the best times to visit Santa, when he may have more time to spend with each child.
Santa takes a break to feed his reindeer each afternoon. The time varies because Santa sees everyone in line before he leaves, so the line closes for a time. After his departure, the line reopens for guests wishing to wait for his return. Please check with Santa’s Greeter to confirm his return time.
Saturday and Sunday afternoons are our busiest times, so plan ahead. On these busy weekends, we often need to close the line as early as 3 pm to accommodate the long line of guests by 5 pm when the museum closes.
