This 1960 Dodge Dart Seneca became my first car. When my Dad bought his 64 Newport, they did not offer him what he thought the tires on the Seneca were worth, so he kept it for a 2nd car. When he bought a 62 Dodge, he retired this car and gave it to me (7 years old at the time) and brought it to the old family farmhouse that belonged to my Uncle. It was put on blocks and when we would visit I would beg to be taken over to the old house so I could "drive" my car. It was also the first car I did drive also.
While the Seneca was still in use, my parents took me over to their friend's house. I was probably about 4 years old and playing in the yard when I turned my attention to car sitting in the driveway. I managed to get in and start punching buttons and pulling levers as I had seen other drivers perform. I managed to release the parking brake. The Seneca gently roled down the gradual slope of the driveway and came to rest in the park across the street. It was a quiet area so no one was hurt and nothing was damaged. In the end, I did get $5.00 for it when somebody offered to buy it for scrap metal. I still have a taillight from it as a souvenir.
