In 1981 I bought my first car, an AMC Hornet 1973, I paid 375 $ for it,
The car had snow tires with spikes, I remove them from tires because spikes are prohibited in summer! It was a small car in its time, comparing to the Chrysler Newport of my Father, but I was capable of transporting my 12 inch Newton Telescope (12 inches diameter by 5 foot long tube!).
30 years later I still talk about this car with nostalgia.
I kept it two years and after I gave it to my brother who kept it some years more.
