My parents had a new 77 Ford Maverick. Not exactly a big smooth cruiser. So when I got my drivers license I saved up and bought the first large car I could find. A ten year old 1974 Chrysler Newport. What a sled. I think I spent more on gas than I earned! But it was a fun cruiser that all my friends could pile into. It was the first of many big cars in my future. While I do enjoy a fast sports car, nothing beats the comfort of climbing into a big comfortable car after a days work. That's why I have a new Cadillac DTS today.
