railroad collections range from early British developments
through to steam power’s eclipse in mid-twentieth
century America. A fully-equipped roundhouse, accessible
to visitors, maintains the operational steam locomotives
in Greenfield village. Passenger and freight cars
share space with locomotives within the museum’s
main hall. |
