Currency & Coins:

The museum's collection of some 2800 pieces of paper currency, bonds and notes is dominated by pieces dating from 1750-1800. These include pieces from each of the original thirteen colonies and early states, and examples from famous engravers and printers such as Benjamin Franklin, David Hall, William Sellers, and Paul Revere. Another group of paper money dates from the mid-nineteenth century and includes many examples of currency from the Confederate States of AmeriAbout The nearly 2000 coins range more widely in date from 1750 to 1950.
