In
addition to its collections of books, periodicals, manuscripts,
business records and other library and archival materials, the Research
Center holds a number of special collections. Many, including the
collections of political broadsides and handbills, postcards and
greeting cards, posters and travel literature, reflect Henry Ford's
well known interest in popular culture and the artifacts of daily
life. Others, like the trade catalogs and automotive product literature,
are important collections that give specific information about Americans
as consumers and the products that they bought. |
