H.J. Heinz Co. pioneered the concept of prepared and packaged foods and brand name identification. This small collection includes early advertising and public relations material, advertising layouts, sales and procedural manuals, business ledgers, photographs of factory operations, trade cards, recipe books and company tributes. It complements the larger body of material held at the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania.
