From the game's most "sacred relic" -- the Doubleday Ball from baseball's mythic first game in 1839, to Babe Ruth's bat with the 29 notches he carved to mark home runs -- Baseball As America provides something for everyone: children, adults, sports fans and cultural mavens.

Baseball As America premiered in New York City in March 2002 at the American Museum of Natural History. It has also appeared at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, the Cincinnati Museum Center, the Florida International Museum in St. Petersburg, the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, the Missouri Historical Society in St. Louis, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the Oakland Museum of California.
