Savor an American musical original at our newest signature event — Ragtime Street Fair. For one whirlwind of a weekend, we revel in that seductively syncopated music that we know as ragtime! There’s music everywhere you turn. You can learn to dance the one-step or listen to pianos cranking out the hits of the era. Better yet, you can find a comfy seat and listen to live performances by some of the modern-day stars of ragtime, including Taslimah Bey, "Perfessor" Bill Edwards, John Remmers, River Raisin Ragtime Revue and Jerry Perrine. It’s sassy, jazzy, hot and live. When you’re ready for a rest, stop and snack on fresh hot buttered corn, Greenfield Village Cherry Chicken Sausage slathered with our very own red onion marmalade and a truly decadent summer treat — hot fried dough doused with creamy ice cream. And to take advantage of those exquisite long summer nights, we’ll stay open until 9 pm Saturday.
