"OUR HERO," CHARLES LINDBERGH
Seventy-five years ago this month, a modest young man took off in his custom-built airplane and became one of the most legendary heroes of modern times. Charles Lindbergh became a celebrity in exactly thirty-three hours, thirty minutes, and thirty seconds, the time it took him to fly from New York to Paris.
