DPC Nature
Nature, as portrayed by the Detroit Publishing Company photographers, was awe-inspiring, majestic, and mysterious. Their scenic photographs often resembled landscape paintings. People appeared as part of the scenery. The growing tourist industry fed the interest in scenic views, which were the most popular of the company's photographs.
