Railroaders’ Breakfast
April 26-27 & May 3-4, 10-11, 2014 (8-9am; Doors open at 7:45am)
Start your little engineer’s Day Out With Thomas™ with a hearty Railroader’s Breakfast in Greenfield Village’s A Taste of History Restaurant.

Buttermilk pancakes with a choice of toppings, fresh fruit salad, sausage links and more. It’s a scrumptious early-morning way to prepare for a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine™. There’s music by the Picks & Sticks Stringband, too, along with railroad-themed storytelling and a visit with our very own Village Hobo and Sir Topham Hatt™!

Your ticket includes breakfast at A Taste of History, special access parking in the Eagle Tavern parking lot ($5 parking fee for nonmembers), admission to Greenfield Village for the entire day and a special 9 am ride with Thomas the Tank Engine™. The Henry Ford is located in Dearborn, Michigan on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard, just west of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and south of Michigan Avenue (US-12).

From the East or West via I-94:
Take I-94 to the Oakwood Blvd exit; go north on Oakwood. The Henry Ford is 2.5 miles from the exit on the corner of Village Rd and Oakwood Blvd.
From the South via I-75:
Exit to northbound Southfield Freeway (M-39); drive 4.1 miles to Oakwood Boulevard (Exit 4). Left on Oakwood and drive 1.8 miles.
From the North via Southfield Road (or I-96):
Take Southfield Freeway (M-39) south 4.5 miles past I-96 and exit at Michigan avenue (Exit 6). Continue on the Southfield service drive (veer left) for .5 miles. At the first stoplight, turn right onto Village Road (through the iron gates) and drive 3/4 miles.




Eagle Tavern parking lot is located directly behind the Tavern inside Greenfield Village. Use the Village Road entrance on the corner of Village Road and Eagle Lane. Stop at the security gate to check in, then drive around the back of the Village to Eagle Tavern.
