Ford designed its career re-entry program, partnering with SWE + iRelaunch, that welcomes back experienced professionals who have left the workforce or have been underemployed for two or more years.
Participants will be able to confidently return to the workforce not only in their technical field but also in a supportive environment designed for success. The program provides career-specific, full-time work experience for a six-month period. Upon successful completion of the program, a full-time employment offer could be made.
Throughout the program, participants will build on their past work experience and gain new skills though work aligned with their area of expertise. Participants will experience a robust curriculum with an emphasis on professional development, mentoring, networking, and exposure to senior level management preparing them to shift gears back into the workforce while learning more about Ford and our culture.
Ford’s re-entry program is a temporary assignment for those with an extended employment break (2 or more years) in their field who are looking to re-launch their careers. This is a supplemental position with provisions and benefits different from a regular full-time position. All positions have a six-month duration. Upon successful completion of the program, a full-time employment offer could be made.
The Change Analyst role supports ongoing change activities across multiple organizations and a major project to upgrade the existing internally developed change tool (GICC) to an internally hosted vendor (BMC) solution.
The mission of the Operations, Process, Tools and Metrics (OPTM) department is to ensure consistent implementation of robust and efficient processes and tools, including metrics reporting within the IT Operations (ITO) and Product Driven Organization (PDO) which is the application development and support entity. We provide cross-organizational coordination across ITO and PDO, including implementation of IT Service Management services and processes. We strive for operational excellence in everything we do.
This role will be part of OPTM department under the Operations Process team. The Operations Process Analyst role supports the ITO Global Technology Management (GTM) organization by ensuring communication of managerial and operational metrics to all areas of IT management. The team is also the communications hub for the GTM organization, plans, and coordinates events that highlight ongoing GTM activities.
The Ford Cyber Defense Center is an integral part of the IT Security & Controls Department. The Threat Intelligence Analyst supports the Threat Intelligence program, providing context-aware Threat Intelligence to the team. Ford’s Cyber Defense Center’s mission is to provide proactive and reactive security services to protect Ford Motor Company assets from compromise, globally.
Ford Motor Company must be able to respond to information security-related incidents in a manner that protects corporate information. The Cyber Defense Threat Intelligence Analyst will be focused on addressing relevant threat intelligence feeds and data and making that information actionable.
