Job Description We are seeking a Product Marketing Lead to help build our data commercialization and monetization strategy, develop business and marketing requirements, and grow revenue within North America. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the strategy and roadmap for our digital connected vehicle and mobility (non-fleet) third-party data services and products in the NA, and take products from ideation to product launch. Data products and distribution include, but are not limited to APIs, data marketplaces, algorithms, tools, services, and capabilities that generate revenue. You will have intimate regional knowledge of regulatory/privacy requirements, operational requirements, needs, and nuances within given markets or countries that may vary from the global data monetization strategy.
You will partner with the in-region Ford Smart Mobility strategy teams to understand the market fit for the solutions that we are defining, and to develop where the to play/how to win strategy for your market portfolio. You’ll oversee a product portfolio from the earliest strategy sessions of ideation all the way to successful market adoption. You’ll partner with other regional leads to support global product development efforts with localized voice-of-the-customer feature and partner sets. You’ll oversee the data product roadmaps, ensuring products are built according to the marketing requirements and incorporating agile principles. You’ll manage a team of product marketing analysts, business analysts, and product owners. You’ll collaborate together with industry leaders, multiple business units across the organization, and product owners to clearly articulate the high-level requirements, features, and benefits to the market.
The successful candidate will also be charged with overseeing market analysis, demand generation programs, go-to-market strategies, selling, working alongside the regional marketing leads to reach the target audience for each product, and generating increase in revenue and market share. Key responsibilities
Own the where to play and how to win strategy for your region, coordinated with the global strategy.
Manage a team of product marketing managers, business analysts, and product owners.
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market, developing product pricing strategies and structures.
Market intelligence – oversee all competitive and customer analysis in-region; understand how your customers consume, as well as their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them; Understanding market trends.
Partnerships – oversee the in-region business development strategy and work with sales and business development teams to develop deals that maximize in-region opportunities
Product launch – oversee the launch of new data products and releases
Pipeline management – partner with internal teams to prioritize a backlog of capacities for enablement, and commercialize to take to market.
Regulatory requirements – be an expert in NA and specific country regulatory and privacy requirements, nuances, and standards.
Partner with colleagues globally for coordinated strategies, platforms, and product design features as necessary.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in in Business, Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or Finance
15+ years of data, mobile, or software product marketing experience with at least 8 years’ experience in the data monetization/brokerage domain, with focus on strategy and distribution for large consumer base
10+ years of developing data science products and data monetization business models
10+ years gathering requirements for agile software development
8+ years managing multi-million US dollar enterprise software implementation projects
5+ years managing multi-national teams
8+ years of hands-on design thinking or user design experience
5+ years’ experience working in-market, and a demonstrated knowledge of data regulatory and privacy laws
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD degree in in Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or Finance
Outstanding organizational skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented - demonstrated capability and experience in project tracking, gathering, analyzing and tracking data
Responsible and managed C-Suite projects
Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment and rapidly growing team
Ability to work across multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and to recommend and implement informed choices
Proven ability to work independently, proactively and efficiently within established guidelines and procedures
Experience in agile software implementation
Inherently curious and believe in the power of data to drive decisions
Experience in data management and data quality pipelines is an added advantage.
Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner
Strong attention to detail and delivery track record.
Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) and influencing skills
Experience using MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Visio
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
