Help When You Need It Most
If you get stuck, Roadside Assistance will help with the following tasks:
- Mount your spare if you have a flat tire
- Jump-start your battery
- Unlock your vehicle if you are locked out
- Bring you fuel if you run out
- Tow your vehicle if you are stranded or have been in an accident
After you call Roadside Assistance, a customer service representative will contact a service provider close to your location to get you help as quickly as possible.

Roadside Assistance is available to you whenever you need it throughout the 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Canada.
Coverage
If you're a Ford or Mercury owner, you receive complimentary Roadside Assistance coverage for the first 36 months or 36,000 miles you drive your vehicle. If you're a Lincoln owner, you're covered even longer—48 months with unlimited mileage.
Extending Your Coverage
If your complimentary roadside assistance coverage has expired, you can choose to extend your coverage by either purchasing a Ford Extended Service Plan (ESP) or joining Ford Auto Club:
- Purchase a Ford ESP—All Ford ESPs include Roadside Assistance. Not only will you have the peace of mind that comes with knowing your vehicle is protected if it needs an unexpected repair, but you'll also rest easy knowing you can get help if you're stuck on the side of the road
- Join Ford Auto Club—Choose between a basic and premium Ford Auto Club membership. Basic membership includes all the benefits of roadside assistance for $49 per year. Premium membership is $79 per year and includes hotel and airfare discounts, trip planning, rental discounts, oil change certificates and more! For just $15 more, you can purchase a family membership to cover your whole family, regardless of the type of vehicle they drive.
