Distinctive look with distinctive power – that's the 2010 Ford Flex with EcoBoost
With its distinctive style and appearance, the Ford Flex has turned heads since it debuted last year. Now the Flex adds distinctive power as Ford's newest engine – EcoBoost™ – joins the lineup this summer. Packaged with well-equipped SEL and Limited models, the Flex now is available with a new 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6, which delivers the power of a conventional V-8 engine while maintaining V-6 fuel economy. The EcoBoost V-6 engine combines direct injection with twin turbochargers to create a system that uses less fuel to deliver more power. Flex with EcoBoost also tows up to 4,500 pounds and can go from 0 to 60 mph in about seven seconds. more...

Talking to your car? These days, it might just talk back
It used to be that if you pulled up to a stoplight and saw the guy in the car next to you moving his lips, he was either singing to the radio or talking to himself. Not anymore. These days, chances are he's talking to his car, and now his car might just be talking back. With voice-enabled systems like Ford's award-winning SYNC allowing more and more drivers to get valuable information from their navigation systems with simple voice commands, surveys are showing drivers are more comfortable holding conversations with their cars. In fact, Nuance Communications polled consumers to find out what functions are used the most when it comes to speech-enabled navigation systems. more...

Outwitting the wind helps new Taurus beat the pump
Throughout the development of the new 2010 Ford Taurus, designers and engineers spent much time in the wind tunnel – in an effort to refine the vehicle's design by smoothing the surfaces, fine-tune for wind noise control and squeeze out maximum fuel economy. All of this work is done to support Ford's commitment for each newly launched model being best in class or among the class leaders in fuel economy. Fiesta Movement agents show off adventures in technology for June missions
Fiesta Movement agents got one step closer to the technology they adore and are showing off their adventures in their June mission videos. Whether they were into cars from Hollywood, video games or the latest in music, each agent certainly left their unique mark. And people have been paying attention – agents have generated 13.4 million impressions through various social media platforms. more...
