Ford doubles the number of vehicles to offer rear view camera system
Ford Motor Company will continue its technology onslaught by doubling the number of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models that offer an innovative and affordable Rear View Camera System by the end of 2009. Approximately 75 percent of Ford vehicles will offer the feature by the end of next year, including the new 2010 Ford Mustang – the only sports car to offer the feature when it arrives in spring 2009 – and the recently introduced 2010 Ford Fusion and Fusion Hybrid.  more...

2009 Lincoln MKS achieves 5-star safety rating
Ford Motor Company added to its leading number of 5-star crash test-rated vehicles as the 2009 Lincoln MKS earned top ratings for both frontal and side impact tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Lincoln’s full-size flagship sedan also recently earned a “Top Safety Pick” award from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS), by getting top ratings in high-speed front and side crash tests, as well as a rear crash test simulation. Ford F-150 teams up with Country Weekly to salute the troops
