Emily Kolinski Morris, senior economist, The Americas, is responsible for the business environment analysis of the North American and South American markets in the Corporate Economics and Strategic Issues Office at Ford Motor Company.
Kolinski Morris develops forecasts for both the automotive industry and overall economy. She also conducts in-depth studies on issues affecting the auto industry such as pricing and revenue trends.
Prior to joining Ford in 1997, Kolinski Morris was a fiscal analyst with the Michigan House of Representatives where she conducted analysis of state budget and revenue issues with a focus on state regulations and economic development.
Emily Kolinski Morris earned a bachelor's degree in economics and international studies from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan. She is currently the vice president of the Detroit Association for Business Economics.
