JAMES BUESCHER TURNS IN SECOND TOP-10 OF 2009 WITH EIGHTH-PLACE FINISH AT KENTUCKYJames Buescher, driver of the No. 10 Ford F-150, twice came back from being a lap down to finish in eighth-place in the Ford Built Tough 225 presented by The Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers at Kentucky Speedway Saturday night. Colin Braun, driver of the No. 6 Ford F-150, was running fifth with 16 laps to go when he caught up in a wreck, ending his night early. Braun had finished in the top 10 in each of the previous four races. |

COLIN BRAUN CARRIES STREAK OF FOUR CONSECUTIVE TOP-10S INTO KENTUCKYColin Braun, driver of the No. 6 Con-way Freight True LTL Ford F-150, has improved 10 positions in the standings – from 20th to 10th – in the last four races, heading into this weekend’s The Built Ford Tough 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Braun has produced four consecutive top-10 finishes – including his first career series win at Michigan on June 13 – during that stretch. Braun was sixth fastest during Friday’s first practice session at Kentucky. |

U.K. SCRAPPAGE: Ford leads the way with 14,000 orders to dateThe success Ford is enjoying under the scrappage scheme looks set to have a major impact on improving road safety. The scheme offers buyers £2,000 towards a new model if they trade in a car 10 years old or more which they have owned for 12 months or longer. This comprises £1,000 from the UK Government and £1,000 from the manufacturer. |
