FORD GETS SECOND DECADE OFF THE GROUND AT EAA AIRVENTURE OSHKOSHFord Motor Company returns to Oshkosh, Wisc. in 2009 to begin its second decade as the exclusive automotive sponsor for EAA’s AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s greatest aviation celebration. Ford brings some of the latest advances in automobile technology and many of the industry’s most revered classics to the popular “Ford Hangar” at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh. Ford joins other key sponsors in bringing first-rate entertainment and attractions to the exciting annual meeting of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). EAA AirVenture Oshkosh takes place July 27 to Aug. 2. |

ONE-OF-A-KIND FORD MUSTANG AV-X10 “DEARBORN DOLL” TO BE AUCTIONED AT WORLD’S GREATEST AVIATION CELEBRATIONFord Motor Company created a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle, the Mustang AV-X10 “Dearborn Doll,” to be sold at auction during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) 2009 AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s greatest aviation celebration. Ford is the exclusive automotive partner with EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and all of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Young Eagles organization. FORD CREDIT EARNS $413 MILLION IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF 2009*Ford Motor Credit Company reported net income of $413 million in the second quarter of 2009, an improvement of $1.8 billion from a net loss of $1.4 billion a year earlier. On a pre-tax basis, Ford Credit earned $646 million in the second quarter, compared with a loss of $2.4 billion in the previous year. Excluding the $2.1 billion impairment charge for operating leases in the second quarter of 2008, Ford Credit incurred a pre-tax loss of $294 million in the previous year. On a pre-tax basis, Ford Credit earned $610 million in the first half of 2009. |
