Job Description/Overview:

The Planning and Communications Team provides support to the Ford Credit IT organization and is responsible for internal communications, organizational change management, event coordination, executive communications and meetings, and IT learning events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop IT communication strategy and create communication plan to execute IT corporate key messages
  • Ensure editorial content is aligned with IT corporate messaging and organizational change initiatives
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify organization change management (OCM) solutions
  • Oversee the preparation and facilitation of leadership meetings and quarterly All Hands Meeting
  • Identify innovative approaches to communicate to the IT organization and enhance engagement with IT leadership
  • Create and deliver communications appropriate to the audience
  • Assist projects with communication plans
  • Identify, capture, and analyze metrics associated with the deployment of organizational change initiatives
  • Partner with key stakeholders to implement enhanced communication tools

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of IT or Operations support experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Demonstrated competency in the development and delivery of corporate / department messaging
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and active listening skills
  • Proficiency in SharePoint: intermediate to advance publishing and editing skills for the creation and editing of sites, web parts, surveys, discussions
  • Experience in photo editing and video creation
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to write complete communication materials from minimal input
  • Experience in the development and delivery of executive level communications
  • Developed and implemented strategies that utilize effective communication to realize sustained change within IT
  • Developed processes and tools to drive more effective and efficient communications
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to quality
  • Applied a structured approach to transition individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired state in order to achieve improved and sustainable business results
  • Developed social and mass collaborative communication strategies that drive business value
  • Experience in the development and delivery of executive level communications
  • Demonstrated effective prioritization and time management skills
