Human Resources Labor Relations Associate - Kansas City Assembly Plant

This immediate position is for an HR Labor Representative at the Kansas City Assembly Plant located in Claycomo, MO


Responsibilities:

• Responsible of all aspects of hourly employee administration on assigned crew/shift
• Deliver HR products and services, including labor agreements, in accordance with applicable employment laws, regulatory agencies, regulations, policies, and practices (e.g. ethics, health and safety)
• Responsible for administration of union representative compensation
• Coordinate and/or assist in UAW contract negotiations, implementation and/or ongoing administration of the Master and Local Collective Bargaining Agreements.
• Investigate and prepare responses to grievances
• Support hourly personnel recruiting and hiring, Personnel
• Relations activities and health and safety activities as required
• Build strong relationships with operations partners, Union representatives, HR colleagues and experts, and other business partners to jointly deliver business objectives and resolve issues
  Support HR efforts related to investigations, governmental inquiries / charges, grievance resolution, performance and absence management, complaints of unfair employment
• practices / discrimination, and disciplinary action
• Coach, counsel, and educate salaried operations partners on HR policies, processes, programs and strategies
• Foster an effective, inclusive work environment / culture and relationships, balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company goals and values
• Analyze data and use technology to proactively identify and diagnose business needs / opportunities and develop solutions to meet those needs
• HR Business Partner experience including project management, change management and/or organizational development
• Strong communications, interpersonal, leadership and computer skills
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment, including shift work (including nights and weekends, as assigned)
  

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment including negotiations and conflict resolution
• 1+ years Microsoft Office experience
