Position Overview/Description:
The Server Automation Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to enhance and support the Enterprise Agile Hosting Server Environment based on the HP Cloud Server Automation tool. This environment provides Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) by automating the provisioning of virtual machine servers so application developers can rapidly deploy their applications on Virtual Servers for production & testing environments. As an Engineer you will be responsible for engineering and implementing the next generation automation infrastructure solutions with internal teams and suppliers

Position Overview/Description:

As an Engineer you will be responsible for engineering and implementing the next generation automation infrastructure solutions with internal teams and suppliers
Responsibilities:
- Design & Engineer automated workflows in HP CSA tool to provision various services (i.e. SQL, Oracle, WebSphere, & OS’s) on VMware virtual machines in Data Center environment.
- Work with other IT teams (DBA’s, Server operations, etc.) to meet project/application requirements.
- Meet security and control requirements for HP CSA tool including: IT Policy Manual compliance, Systems audit completion and evidence gathering, interface documentation, audit participation, and Operation Identified Comment (OIC) resolution.
- Develop and maintain, accurate support documentation
- Perform SCRP process and ACR/ICR updates
- Provide L3 Automation support to Infrastructure operations and deployment teams.
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ Years of experience with HP Cloud Server Automation tools or similar server automation tools.
- 3+ Years of experience with operating systems (Windows Server and Linux OS’s) and related components
- 3+ years’ exhibiting technical skills in areas such as servers, networks and storage infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud Computing concepts.
- Knowledge of the IT Operating Model / IT Service Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Scripting experience with PowerCLI, Python, etc.
- Experience with Data Bases (Oracle, SQL)
- Experience with VMware Server products
- Expertise and understanding in SharePoint
- Experience with Large Scale Infrastructure Deployments
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users and IT professionals including globally distributed teams; the ability to adjust communications appropriately for the audience; work with all levels of management and diverse work groups
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
