The Marketing Optimization Analyst will be a contact for the Global, Data, Insights, & Analytics organization for Ford’s Brand and Fixed (advertising) Marketing Teams.
This Dearborn, MI located position will be responsible for providing measurement and insight regarding the optimization of marketing activities, prioritizing projects and working within a team that will design, execute, and deliver analysis used to understand and optimize Ford’s marketing resources.
The Marketing Optimization Analyst is chartered to provide insight beyond fact-based reporting and will interpret results in the context of the market place/ environment. The ability to turn data into compelling narratives that resonate with the customer is a key aspect of this role. The analyst will also present findings to the customer directly. Outstanding communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage the Marketing Optimization services organization serving:
Advertising (understand Ford of Canada’s MROI - Marketing Return on Investment Solution)
Establish and optimize access to data and applications required to deliver marketing optimization services
Manages relationships with external suppliers of data and specialized analysis/research organizations
Establish / Own / Manage data assets required to delivery marketing optimization analytics
Approves changes to the data assets required to delivery marketing optimization analytics
Create, implement and improve operational work processes related to the delivery of marketing optimization analytics
Service level agreements with data / analytics service providers
Compliance with legal / Company policy
Approve approach, design, results, insights and delivery of marketing optimization
Prioritize requests and manage the fulfillment of requests while optimizing utilization of resources
Establish and maintain relationships with industry groups, peers in other organizations and other analytic organizations within Ford Motor Company to benchmark and improve marketing optimization services.
Job Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis in one or more of the following areas: marketing research, marketing OR advertising agency (media planning)
Strong ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats
Ability to lead, plan, develop, and implement projects / programs that generate profit and the courage to reject those that do not
Ability to measure business performance through financial analysis
Ability to effectively direct IT / Vendor resources related to analytic services
Demonstrate ability to work within a team setting and manage work flow(s)
