Job Description Position Overview/Description: The WebLogic Infrastructure Team Leader is responsible to lead a team of 4 people on site and services provided from offshore.
Responsibilities:
Provide and lead Technical Architecture for Ford Credit Web applications.
Provide infrastructure guidance/design for Ford Credit JEE applications.
Liaise with multiple teams in Ford (Infrastructure, Server and applications) and facilitate IT Architecture related processes.
Lead the Web Infrastructure Services Team in Engineering and Operations for Ford Credit Infrastructure IBM IHS Servers and WebLogic Application Servers. Lead the team to operate MQ, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Lombardi (Websphere Application Server).
Develop and maintain Processes and Procedures (Internal and External) for the team and the IT Customers.
Approves access to application teams to the servers where their applications are located and provide processes for annual access review.
Engage in strategic agile methodologies and POC projects.
Provide customer, application and launch support for approximately 110 Global Ford Credit applications.
Provide 24x7 support coverage for Global JEE Ford Credit mission critical applications.
Provide support and development for Tools applications such as IHS/WebLogic configuration and log websites.
Manage vendor relationship with Oracle for WebLogic and Fusion Middleware.
License Manager for Oracle WebLogic.
Maintain Request Center forms, Team SharePoints & Team AccuRev Projects.
SSL registration/renewing certificates with external facing applications and Internal Servers.
Review, evaluate and apply product updates and enhancements.
May be required to work weekends, provide off hours support, and/or carry pager.
Job Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience leading operations/engineering infrastructure team
3+ years of experience with infrastructure architecture relating to applications and engineering for highly scalable environments
3+ years of experience in HTML, WebLogic/Websphere, IHS, MQ, and Java applications
3+ years of experience with Linux, Shell Scripting, Networking and Windows Operating Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent area of study
Three years’ experience leading operations/engineering infrastructure team with increasing scope and priorities.
Experience in Microsoft Internet Information Services
Experience in vendor relationships and negotiations.
Ability to learn new technologies and processes.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with business, technology partners, and team members
