The Ford Credit Finance and Treasury Insurance team manages development and support for 10 business-critical Finance and Treasury applications. These applications hold monthly data surmounting to billions of dollars that is directly viewed by the CFO. This position provides a unique and excellent opportunity to be able to work in Application Maintenance, Technology Management and Application Design & Development…all in the same job. In addition, the position will enable you to interface with senior management and global customers on Finance and Treasury business.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior IT Development Business Analyst, the candidate will understand various business functions and work as a Business Architect in the Finance domain.
Analysis and implementation of various Tech refresh and Production Support best practices on multiple applications with different technologies
Lead Finance and Treasury Insurance Applications related projects
Implement major and minor enhancement requests
Facilitate development of business requirements with global Ford & Ford Motor Credit Company (FMCC) Business teams - Conduct Requirements Engineering, System Analysis, Gap Analysis, Business process modelling and user Acceptance testing
Develop project plans and coordinate testing with internal applications
Develop impact analysis for projects
Interface with Project Leads, Business, and IT analysts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects within FMCC Enterprise Release Management schedules
Ensure appropriate use of Ford IT processes, tools and methodologies
Lead issue resolution; occasionally may require off- hour business hour support
Work with business and IT teams to ensure all Compliance and Security and Controls (ACR/ICR updates, Information Security Policy adherence)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
5+ years of IT experience in systems development lifecycle (such as SDM, USDM or Agile)
5+ years of Business Analysis experience
5+ years of Project Management experience
1+ years of experience in Data warehouse/Teradata/OLAP Technology/SQL/Mainframe
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of IT experience in systems development lifecycle (such as SDM, USDM or Agile)
1+ years of experience working on multiple applications – Sox, Vendor led etc.
Understanding of the Architecture and Systems development lifecycle
Strong Business acumen in Finance and Accounting domain
SharePoint expertise
Excellent verbal and written communications at all levels (presentation experience)
High degree of initiative, self-motivation and ability to work autonomously
Strong team leadership and skills to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines
Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to plan, prioritize and support multiple concurrent projects
Logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
